Description
'Unnamed Pond with Changed Water Color,' a fine art landscape photograph by Lynn Cyrus / Cascade Colors. On June 28, 2022, Lake Haiyaha received the contents of a large rockslide. This resulted in a drastic change in the color of the water. The color was expected to last only a few weeks, but it was still l a milky bright aqua green (similar to some lakes I've seen in the Canadian Rockies) by the start of autumn. What was equally interesting to me was that the outflowing streams were the same/similar milky color, as were the unnamed ponds in the valley below the lake. This is one of those ponds, surrounded by pine trees and forest. Taken in Rocky Mountain National Park in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
