Description
'Black Bear Pass Landscape', a fine art mountain landscape photograph by Lynn Cyrus / Cascade Colors. The Black Bear Pass road winds from Red Mountain Pass, between Silverton and Ouray, towards Telluride, on the opposite side of the San Juan range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. This is also part of Mineral Basin. This beautiful area of the state receives higher amounts of rainfall, and is known for its abundant wildflowers in the short growing season of the alpine summer. Here, vivid red Indian Paintbrush and yellow Sneezeweed flowers bloom in this patch of meadow beneath rising peaks. Other wildflowers also fill this meadow right near treeline. A few waterfalls can be glimpsed in the background, cascading down the mountain slopes. This piece will be perfect for any outdoor enthusiast, hiker, and lover of nature and the wilderness.
