'Winter Dawn Moon and Tree Landscape', by Lynn Cyrus / Cascade Colors. Shortly before sunrise on this winter morning in January, in rural Colorado at Barr Lake State Park, the sky is beginning to lighten and the moon still shines above. Two large oak trees stand prominently against the purplish blue sky, and meadow grasses in the foreground add a warm tone to this landscape in the soft morning light.

Fine art photography and watercolor paintings! My passions in photography are landscapes and nature, capturing these elements in winter, spring, summer, and fall, in all types of terrain and locations around the world. I aim to capture the natural beauty of the world around me, and my philosophy is to use minimal amounts of post-processing, so that what you see is very much what it looked like in person, in terms of lighting, colors, and shadow. The themes of my watercolor paintings are most commonly natural landscapes, wildlife (primarily birds! I adore birds!), and scenes from my travels.
