Original watercolor painting, 'Young Raccoon in the Garden', by Lynn Cyrus / Cascade Colors. Many years ago while I was still living in Minnesota, I saw a very young raccoon in the backyard, on the edge of my mother's garden. As it was mid-summer, coneflowers were in bloom. This piece is filled with bright pastel colors, and is warm and happy in feeling. It reminds me of easter, and of spring and the coming of warmer weather.
