Artist's Description
Original watercolor painting, 'Winter Snowy Forest with Sunburst', by Lynn Cyrus / Cascade Colors. This piece was based on a photo I took higher up in the mountains while snowshoeing last winter after a fresh snowfall. Snow covered the branches of the pine and fir trees, and sunlight poked through a distant tree to highlight some of the branches and patches of ground. This could also make a great Christmas card, though that wasn't my purpose when painting it.
