Original watercolor painting, 'Six Greek Island Churches', by Lynn Cyrus / Cascade Colors. Almost exactly fifteen years ago, I traveled to Greece and visited five of the greek isles - Santorini, Paros, Naxos, Mykonos, and Tinos. Greek orthodox churches from each of these islands is represented here, with two from Santorini. Each miniature painting is based off of a photograph that I took, and I chose to put six into a single painting as these are all images that I hadn't been inclined to paint individually, but felt all together they could tell an interesting story. Each miniature painting is 5.5 inches by 5.5 inches.

I aim to capture the natural beauty of the world around me, and my philosophy is to use minimal amounts of post-processing. NO AI, no altered backgrounds, no filters, no effects, everything shot in RAW. The themes of my watercolor paintings are most commonly natural landscapes, wildlife, and scenes from my travels.
