'Vivid Sunset with Tree Silhouette', a fine art nature and landscape photograph by Lynn Cyrus / Cascade Colors. I managed to catch the final, darker half of this incredible sunset that we experienced here in Colorado a week ago. This is the sort of sunset that comes along only a handful of times a year. Here, a tree is framed in the foreground, and a portion of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains are in the distance. At nearly twilight, the colors are dark and intense. This was taken within an open space within the greater Denver metropolitan area.
