Pika in the Sun - by Cascade Colors / Lynn Cyrus. The pika is a small mammal in the rabbit family, which is native to high alpine habitat in the mountains. This species can be found in the Rocky Mountains, and I saw this one on Flat Top Mountain in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado.
