This painting of a high alpine view is based on a scene one can see from atop the summit of Belford Peak, a 14er (fourteener) in the Sawatch range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. From this high altitude, one can look out to the layers upon layers of mountain peaks and ridges that recede into the distance. The world spreading out before you!
