Original watercolor painting, 'Trees and Earth', by Lynn Cyrus / Cascade Colors. I wanted to create a piece using many water effects - splattering the paint, spraying the paper with water, tilting the paper to let the paint run down, all to create a more loose, magical feel. There are impressions of trees leafing out in early springtime, and also roots reaching down into the earth. Blue and green tones fill this piece.
