'Green Violetear', by Lynn Cyrus / Cascade Colors. This small hummingbird is one of many native birds to the cloud forests of Costa Rica. Vivid aqua, blue, green, and purple plumage is displayed in certain light. This Violetear is perched on a small branch in the Monteverde Preserve, a tract of protected cloud forest in central Costa Rica, near the community of Santa Elena.

I aim to capture the natural beauty of the world around me, and my philosophy is to use minimal amounts of post-processing.
