'Autumn Morning Shadows in the Rockies', a fine art mountain landscape photograph by Lynn Cyrus / Cascade Colors. On the southern slopes of Mount Elbert, shadows in the mixed aspen and pine forest, and on the mountains across the valley, are strong in the early morning sunlight. In mid September, leaves in the aspen trees are beginning to turn color, with varying shades of gold, yellow, orange, and green. This wilderness lies between Leadville and Buena Vista, in central Colorado, and the Twin Lakes lie within this valley.

My passions in photography are landscapes and nature, capturing these elements in winter, spring, summer, and fall, in all types of terrain and locations around the world. I aim to capture the natural beauty of the world around me, and my philosophy is to use minimal amounts of post-processing.
