'Winter Aspen and Shadows', a fine art landscape photograph by Lynn Cyrus / Cascade Colors. Winter has just arrived at Kenosha Pass, which lies between Denver and Fairplay, Colorado. After a fresh snowfall the night before, snow blankets this meadow and trees shortly after sunrise. Snow blankets the branches of the aspen and wooden fence, and crisp shadows fall across the fresh snow on the ground. I chose a monochrome treatment of this piece to highlight the ambience and focus on the contrast. A magical winter wonderland in the heart of the Rockies!
