Original watercolor painting, 'Northern Parula in Song', by Cascade Colors / Lynn Cyrus. Northern Parulas are beautiful songbirds, part of the New World Warbler family, who breed in forests of northeastern North America, and migrate thousands of miles south for the winter. The male has vivid blue feathers above, with white wingbars, a bright yellow throat, and orange and yellow bands across his breast. Soft orange and yellow tones fill the background of this painting, and leaves surround the bird.
