Original watercolor painting, 'Colorado Rocky Mountains and Alpine Wildflowers', a fine art landscape by Lynn Cyrus / Cascade Colors. This piece was inspired by a high alpine landscape I photographed while above Black Lake, in Upper Glacier Basin, in the beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park wilderness. Although while I was here it was the tail end of summer and very few flowers were left, I wanted this painting to reflect the height of summer, with a meadow filled with colorful wildflowers. A jagged and majestic peak rises in the background.
