Original watercolor painting, 'Brainard Lakes Winter Landscape', by Lynn Cyrus / Cascade Colors. After almost a decade of living in Colorado, I finally visited the popular Brainard Lakes Recreation Area, which is in the Indian Peaks Wilderness, north of Nederland. I aim to capture the natural beauty of the world around me, and my philosophy is to use minimal amounts of post-processing, so that what you see is very much what it looked like in person, in terms of lighting, colors, and shadow.
