Original watercolor painting, 'Brainard Lakes Winter Landscape', by Lynn Cyrus / Cascade Colors. After almost a decade of living in Colorado, I finally visited the popular Brainard Lakes Recreation Area, which is in the Indian Peaks Wilderness, north of Nederland. It was lovely in the winter, with snow on the peaks and covering much of the ground. The distinctive mountain peaks rose in the background. Colorado Rocky Mountain landscape painting.
