Description
Original watercolor painting, 'Amazon Rainforest Design', by Lynn Cyrus / Cascade Colors. This is a very large painting, at 22 x 30 inches. It celebrates not only my two trips to the Ecuador Amazon (Napo Wildlife Center and Kapawi Preserve), where I photographed all of these wonderful animals, fungi, birds, flowers, insects, frogs, snakes, lizards, and plants, but also portrays the beautiful and precious diversity present in these quickly vanishing ecosystems. How in the world short-sighted governments can possibly allow all of this to be wiped off of the earth is unconscionable to me- this will never spring into existence of its own accord once destroyed. Wildlife/ecosystem/ nature art. Amazonian rainforest - which historically covered much of Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, and Bolivia.
