'Lily Ponds Autumn Landscape', a fine art mountain landscape photograph by Lynn Cyrus / Cascade Colors. It is an early year for leaves to be changing this autumn, and by mid September the aspen foliage is at or approaching peak on much of Mount Elbert. This area lies between Leadville and Buena Vista, near the Twin Lakes. Here, the mixed aspen and pine forest is reflected in the still waters of one of the Lily Ponds. A clear blue sky is overhead.
