'Late Autumn Rocky Mountain Landscape', a fine art photograph by Lynn Cyrus / Cascade Colors. Autumn in the Rockies has been very interesting this year, extending longer than usual, with prolonged warm days. Leaves are still in color in some stretches of aspen forest in the meadows within Rocky Mountain National Park, near the Front Range community of Estes Park. Here, in late afternoon, a few hours before sunset, warm colors fill this scene of an open meadow, bordered by mixed pine and aspen forest, with mountain peaks rising in the background. Very interesting cloud formations fill part of the otherwise clear blue sky.
