Shadows against the snow stand out sharply on this cold winter morning in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. The sun shines brightly above Long's Peak. My passions in photography are landscapes and nature, capturing these elements in winter, spring, summer, and fall, in all types of terrain and locations around the world. I aim to capture the natural beauty of the world around me, and my philosophy is to use minimal amounts of post-processing, so that what you see is very much what it looked like in person, in terms of lighting, colors, and shadow. The themes of my watercolor paintings are most commonly natural landscapes, wildlife (primarily birds! I adore birds!), and scenes from my travels.
