'Alpine Sunflower and Gray's Peak', by Cascade Colors / Lynn Cyrus. Summer landscape photograph taken on a late July morning while hiking on the trail leading me to Gray's and Torrey's Peaks, two 14ers (fourteener) in the Front Range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Brilliant bright yellow Alpine Sunflower wildflowers were blooming in this alpine meadow above treeline, and Gray's Peak rises in the background. Vivid yellow, green, and blue tones fill this landscape.
