Original watercolor painting, 'Western Scrub Jays and Juniper', by Lynn Cyrus / Cascade Colors. A pair of jays perch together atop a juniper tree. I based this painting off of a photograph I took in the Needles district of Canyonlands National Park, in the desert regions of east-central Utah. Scrub Jays have patches of brilliant aqua and blue feathers in their tail, wings, and head plumage, and underneath are white and gray in coloration. These birds of the western United States can thrive in a variety of ecosystems. The Original painting is for sale, painted on 140 pound cold press Arches fine art watercolor paper.
