Description
Original watercolor painting, 'Brown Pelican Group and Boat', by Lynn Cyrus / Cascade Colors. I always enjoy revisiting this composition and theme, based on a photo I took in the fishing village of Puerto Lopez, Ecuador, on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. Many Brown Pelican and other seabirds and shorebirds were in this area, either flying overhead or swimming in and around the fishing boats near the shore. I chose to use a variety of colors in this piece.
