'Alpine Summer Beauty', a landscape photograph by Lynn Cyrus / Cascade Colors. Within the Mount Sneffels Wilderness Area, on the slopes of Mount Sneffels, lies this gem of an alpine lake. In mid summer, snow and ice still remains on many of the mountain slopes and peaks, and continues to melt. Brilliant aqua, green, and blue tones fill this image. This region of the Rockies is within the San Juans range of the Rocky Mountains, near the mountain community of Ouray, in southwest Colorado.

My passions in photography are landscapes and nature, capturing these elements in winter, spring, summer, and fall, in all types of terrain and locations around the world.
